I had one of my luckiest food days the night a group of friends invited me out to eat. They said they were going out for Indian. Ok I’m not a huge fan of Indian food but who cares! It was dinner with good company and one of the friends is Indian! Well we meet at a place called Tamba on Lexington and 28th. The restaurant was bright, modern and just serine. Ok nice place and they have a bar! Since this is an Indian restaurant be all decided to let our Indian friend delight us with her native food and boy, she did not disappoint! More to the point Tamba did not disappoint! I’m pretty sure we had a little of everything on the menu so I can say with certainty as a lay person, I enjoyed no make that loved everything on our table. On a side note the service was impeccable; it was like eating at a friend’s house. So friendly, clean and prompt. I could not ask for more. I am definitely recommending Tamba to anyone and everyone who eats Indian food. As for anyone out there who has not eaten Indian food GO!!!

After many tries I have found my favorite Indian restaurant in curry hill. This place has the best food. I love the goat curry here but you just can’t go wrong.

Popular Murray Hill Indian draws packed business crowd for lunch. Lunch buffet is sumptuous if a bit uninspiring, featuring South and North Indian fare.

Best food in curry hill. A little more expensive than its neighbors but the quality is very high. To save money, go for the lunch buffet   A

I had an awesome dining experience at Tamba. Everything was first rate from the cozy atmosphere to the friendly staff to the outstanding food. I loved the tandoori breads, chicken tikka, chocolate kulfi, and the masala chai. Can’t wait to come

I love the food here & often go when I want authentic Indian food. We are asked how hot/spicy we’d like our food & they make the dishes accordingly. The food is great, and the service is quick, so there isn’t a lot of waiting around.
